I've never been one to wear just one colour, but that's exactly what I did on the Friday of MBFWA. To be honest, I had nothing planned to wear that day and I was so grateful to have Ebony's beautiful ruffle sleeved wool crop top on hand to work with and even more grateful to have Claire lend me her amazing Lover corduroy shorts. I didn't bring enough clothes, which doesn't make sense now that I look back, considering I was 13kg over my luggage limit on my way back and had to ask Marg to help me post those 13kg the following week. I couldn't help but keep with the theme and bring out my oxblood lace up boots but broke it up with some gold accessories. Though the nail colour, was a coincidence. I'm obviously a fan of the colour! I bought this collar necklace on a whim at the Topshop flagship store in London, which by the way, is the hugest non-department store I have ever been into. It's about the size of a suburban Myer/David Jones and has five levels. One level dedicated solely (excuse my unintentional pun) to shoes & concession brands. One level dedicated to bags and accessories. One level dedicated to Topshop and two more above to Topman. Crazy stuff. Anyway amongst browsing different accessories in their thousands (I swear, thousands) I picked out this simple gold metal collar necklace on my last day at London - which of course, I dedicated as fully as possible, to shopping on Oxford St <3
