Before I make the most of the twilight hours sleeping in my fluffy hotel bed I thought I would quickly share some of my favourite looks from the Myer Spring Summer 14 show that was on a couple of hours ago. I flew up to Sydney this morning for this fashion launch and it was so good to be back, even if it was just for a short while. I've literally been on my feet all day running around for meetings so I was so glad to finally be able to rest my feet and sit down for a good hour to watch the show. I was really happy to see that white has been embraced in a huge way with so many of the collections featuring white in some way. White is like my black & now I am glad that I have so many more choices in store when it comes to this classy, fresh shade. It was also great to see Kate Sylvester's pieces restyled in a different way again after first seeing them at MBFWA earlier this year. One of the things that was most exciting to see was that there was an element of nature channeled throughout the styling of the show. I haven't got many photos of what I'm trying to describe (as I was too busy looking on with a smile on my face because I love anything to do with mother nature) however many of the models carried bunches of fresh flowers, greenery arrangements and even a bag on a bindle stick. In the swimwear collections, models wore starfish and feather earrings. Now if only I could walk down the street with large starfish shaped earrings without looking out of place..See more of the show on my Instagram here.
