summer wardrobe basics update
Lately I have been drawn more and more to neutral palettes and working on investing in my wardrobe building blocks. I've learnt that if there's something I love, say, drawstring shorts for their ease and comfort, I should just stick to the style and pick up similar pieces. If a pink tee works, I'm more than inclined to own a few of them so I can wear them multiple times throughout the week. One of my favourite basics labels is Assembly Label, which I have recently discovered is conveniently stocked in stores and online at Glue Store. Anything I can see in person and shop online at the same time is even more loved, as sometimes I just want to be able to see the styles or fabric in person before making a decision and picking it up online at a later time. To date, I have about four of the same Assembly tees in different shades. I love the way they cut their tees - oversized and comfortable, perfect for studio days at home. So when I saw a new rose, khaki (sadly sold out now!) and striped versions of my fave tee, I knew they'd be a perfect fit for my wardrobe. And the drawstring shorts? They're a new linen pair in the same style as my much loved wash denim ones which I picked up a couple of years ago.To top off my summer basics update, I love popping on espadrilles for errands like taking my orders to the post office or heading to the local shops and have worn out every pair I've owned. This summery update from Soludos is the perfect new season update for all those errands in summer.Hope you enjoyed this summer wardrobe basics update! In collaboration with GLUE
