One of the busiest towns on Lake Garda is this cheery place down on a little peninsula in the south.

Picturesque Malcesine is known for being one of the more romantic towns on Lake Garda.

With Slovenia being such a small country, there are so many easy day trip options out from the capital, Ljubljana. There's castles, caves, beachside towns, the alps, lakes and beautiful national parks all no more than two hours away.
