Alila Villas Uluwatu Bali

I spent 3 nights at Hyatt's Alila Villas Uluwatu at the start of December and loved every minute of it! From the moment I walked in, I felt transported into a different place. With 65 villas perched cliffside in Uluwatu, Alila Villas Uluwatu is a stunning luxury getaway destination for those looking for a place to relax away from the crowds.

Villa

We stayed in a one bedroom pool villa, the smallest villa available, however it was extremely spacious at 290 m2 with a stunning ocean view, private pool, cabana and terrace. Filled with everything you need and topped off with a 24 hr private butler service too!

Breakfast

There are two options for breakfast - you can either have it in room or at Cire restaurant. With the room service menu, you can order from a range of set menu breakfasts to be enjoyed by your pool. With Cire's breakfast, it's an a-la-carte menu which changes every day featuring small dishes so that you can easily order 5-6 dishes per person and be able to try a wide range of dishes.

Dining

We experienced two dining options during our time at Alila Villas Uluwatu. The first was dinner at Quila restaurant where we experienced the five senses dining experience where an exquisite daily-changing dinner menu is presented with a play on all the five senses. It was an incredible and unique experience, and at one point involved blindfolds and seashells as well!

We also had the chance to try the chef's most recommended dishes at The Warung for lunch. The Warung serves delicious Indonesian dishes full of flavour. Everything was so delicious and beautifully presented, and we shared a large share platter filled with the signature dishes off the menu.

Spa

If you're looking for an incredible spa experience, Alila Villas Uluwatu offers a unique Cliff Edge Spa Cabana Treatment in a cabana perched on the side of the cliff with sweeping views of the ocean below. It's an incredibly special experience worth checking out! We had a 120 minute treatment here to the sound of chirping birds and ocean waves.
